Biomass heating for Dorset village

Vollmer Engineering recently completed a study for the Cranborne Estate into a wood-fired district heating system for the local village. The study proposed a phased approach to the district heating system, which would supply estate-owned properties in the first instance, but would grow over a period of about 5 years to supply the whole village with heating and hot water . As part of the study, we provided an outline design and budget costs for each of the phases.
